La Gomera is the second smallest of the inhabited the Canary Islands, and are little influenced by tourism.
The number of inhabitants is about 19 000 people, most of them live in the capital, San Sebastian. The island is small about 22 kilometers of the widest and highest peak is Garajonaj in 1487 m. This makes the island particularly suitable for, among other things, hiking, which it held many of the island.
